What is the difference between cryptoassets and cryptocurrency CFDs?

When you trade cryptocurrency CFDs, you don’t have to invest directly in the product. Instead, you are simply trading on the real-time price movements in the market, meaning you could earn a profit or a loss whether the price goes up or down.

On the other hand, crypto assets are backed by an underlying asset –which means clients are buying and selling the actual coins. Since there is no leverage, there will be no overnight finance charges or liquidations.

However, please note that the coins purchased are done in an omnibus account under Axi. We will hold an electronic ledger (MT4/5) of which underlying client purchased the coins. The client has no legal claim over them, while the coins remain in our eco-system.
